Cesareans are less painful than vaginal birth

Most women find that a cesarean birth causes more pain than a vaginal birth and that their recovery time is longer. If you already have one or more children at home, caring for a newborn while an abdominal incision is healing can be challenging! In addition, vaginal birth in general is safer for most mothers than cesarean birth.
